ABOUT HAEL

Hey, listen! My name is Hael and I am a lifelong gamer, occasional silly little guy, and full time voice acting enthusiast. The art of creation has been a calling since I isekai’d into this word (teleported, for the non anime fans among us).

As a tattoo artist for nearly 5 years I’ve honed the craft of collaborating with clients to give their visions form. I bring that same mentality into the world of voice acting, imbuing brands and characters with energy, and contributing to compelling storytelling.

My voice has been described as: expressive, friendly, distinctive, quirky, and playful- just to name a few! I am also capable of accessing darker and moodier tones (I was an angsty teen at the height of My Chemical Romance, I am versed).

I graduated from The University of Maine with a Masters in Communication in 2017, so I am well certified to yap professionally for you!

EDUCATION

Growing up I was a theater kid, drawn to the joy of performance. It was a love of make believe mixed with a fascination with manga that brought me to the world of voiceover. After many a school play and summer camps for music and stage acting, I began my exploration in film, contributing to the creation of The Road Back in 2013.

Being from a small town in Maine, the opportunities were limited for my future ventures until I discovered voiceover work can be done from the comfort of your own (paneled) closet! It wasn’t long after that I dove in head first, equipping myself and pursuing education from top talents in the industry such as Joe Zieja and Erika Harlacher, as well as attending Queer Vox online seminars. I’ve especially enjoyed classes focused on vocal empowerment, transmasc voices, and creating character voices.

I’ve been fortunate to receive valuable feedback and one-on-one guidance as I pepper the likes of Voices and Voice123 with my auditions, even scoring a few short lists and conversations about projects.
